This type of honey is the result of nectar collected from a wide variety of flowers, typical of the Umbrian hills and meadows, reflecting the botanical diversity of the territory.

Color
The color can range from straw yellow to deep golden, and even amber tones, depending on the seasons and the predominant plants. This is because millefiori honey doesn’t come from a single flower species, but from a unique combination of plants.
Aroma
The scent is generally rich and complex, with floral and fruity notes. You may detect hints of wildflowers, aromatic herbs, and sometimes a slight touch of malt.
Flavor
The taste is equally varied, balanced, and harmonious. You may perceive sweet tones with hints of wild herbs, acacia flowers, clover, and sometimes more intense notes reminiscent of chestnut or sunflower. The sweetness is often well-balanced with a slight acidic or bitter note.
